1. When the vehicle is not used for
a month or longer, remove the battery
and store it in a cool, dark place.
Completely recharge the battery
before reinstallation.
CAUTION:
The carburetor was set at the
factory after many tests. If the
settings are disturbed by someone
without sufficient technical
knowledge, poor engine
performance and damage may
result.
2. Always make sure the connections
are correct when putting the battery
back in the vehicle.
! WARNING
Do not connect the negative lead
of the jumper cable to the negative
terminal of the battery in the
vehicle.
Be especially careful not to:

touch the positive lead of the

jumper cable to the negative lead.
reverse the polarity of the jumper

serious damage to the electrical
