- be used if damaged;
- be handled with damp or wet hands;
- be wound in a coil when the machine
is in use;
- be tampered with.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or an au-
thorised service centre, or in any case by a
person with a similar qualifi cation.
• It is forbidden to:
- Install the machine other than as de-
scribed in Chapter 9, or outdoors.
- Install the machine in a location where
water jets may be used.
- Disable the safety features installed by
the manufacturer.
- Use the machine close to fl ammable
and/or explosive materials.
- Leave plastic bags, polystyrene, nails,
etc., within the reach of children, as
they are potential hazards.
- Allow children to play near the ma-
chine.
- Use spare parts other than those recom-
mended by the manufacturer.
- Make any technical modifi cations to
the machine.
- Immerse the machine in any kind of
liquid.
- Wash the machine using a jet of water.
- Use the machine in any manner other
than as described in this manual.
- Install the machine on top of other ap-
pliances.

- Use the machine in explosive or harsh
environments, or with high concentra-
tions of dust or oily substances sus-
pended in the air.
- Use the machine in an environment in
which a risk of fi re exists.
- Use the machine to dispense products
other than those it is designed for.
• Before cleaning the machine, ensure that
the plug is disconnected from the power
socket; do not wash it with fuel and/or sol-
vents of any kind.
• Do not place the machine near heating
equipment (such as heaters or radiators).
• The appliance must be installed horizon-
tally.
• In case of fi re, use carbon dioxide (CO
tinguishers. Do not use water or dry pow-
der extinguishers.
• The machine must only be installed in
places where it can be checked by quali-
fi ed staff .
