General Description
This instruction tests the desired status of the selected input/output device and chooses one of two sequences
of instructions.
Format

— Selects the input/output device to be tested according to the following:

Interrogating Typewriter
X Hi-Data Tape Group (10 or 30 KC Model)
Dual Tape Channel (2x6 switch 33 or 66 KC Model)
Dual Tape Channel (2 x 12 switch 33 or 66 KC Model)
33 KC Adapter
66 KC Adapter
Note #1: The 2x6 Switch Dual Tape Channel prohibits the inclusion of Hi-Data Tape Group #1.
