Timing
1. Data Record positioned on turntable and read/write arm in "ready" position:
a. Read/write arm transferred to data record
b. Latency (to reach first character of first cell on data record)
c. Inter cell gap
d. Character transfer rate
(1) Transfer time per cell — (characters and gap)
e. Return read/write arm to "ready" position (data record
stays on turntable (B, = Even), but band select instruction
does not follow within 0.4 sec.) (Band select — N 2° = 1)
2. Return data record from turntable to record storage wheel:
a. Read/write arm on data record (B
b. Read/write arm in "ready" position
