System Features
• The VT 275 uses a chassis-mounted
electric fuel pump. The pump is mounted

with the fuel heater and primary filter in
the Horizontal Fuel Conditioning Module
(HFCM). The fuel pump relay, which is
located in the Power Distribution Center
(PDC), is controlled and monitored by
the ECM.

Water separated from the fuel in the
HFCM is detected by the Water-in-Fuel
(WIF) sensor. The sensor is an input to
the ECM, which controls the WIF dash
lamp through the CAN 1 link.
• The HFCM has both an electric fuel
heater and a temperature controlled
recirculation valve. The valve regulates
recirculation through the system to
assist the heater in warming the fuel.
The secondary filter and fuel pressure
regulator valve are mounted on the engine.
