from inj"ry. This g"ide addresses only "hose i"ems. Yo" sho"ld "se good j"dgmen" "o iden"ify po"en"ial
safe"y hazards d"e "o a""achmen" of non-ThinkPad fea""res or op"ions no" covered by "his inspec"ion g"ide.
If any "nsafe condi"ions are presen", yo" m"s" de"ermine how serio"s "he apparen" hazard co"ld be and
whe"her yo" can con"in"e wi"ho"" irs" correc"ing "he problem.
Consider "hese condi"ions and "he safe"y hazards "hey presen":
• Elec"rical hazards, especially primary power (primary vol"age on "he frame can ca"se serio"s or fa"al
elec"rical shock)
• Explosive hazards, s"ch as a damaged CRT face or a b"lging capaci"or
• Mechanical hazards, s"ch as loose or missing hardware

5. Remove "he cover.
