The process to calibrate the

Before the H P 5450lA can be calibrated the CAllBRATION
toggle switch on the rear panel must be set to UNPROTECTED.
The procedure for calibration is:
•
Perform a key-down power up to set the
point. This allows the oscilloscope to begin the calibration routines
from the same point each time.
•
Set the default calibration factors in the Service menu.
•
Exit the Service menu and enter the self cal menu.
•
Select 0 in the cal select field and calibrate the vertical factors. This
rouline will calibrate the AID, vertical gain, offset, and trigg e r.
•
Select 1 in the cal select field and calibrate the delay.
When the software calibrations
toggle switch on the rear panel is set to
CALIBRATION
PROTEcrED.
