3. Wipe around the scan surface and under the handle

a. Moisten another large Kimwipe with warm
water.
b. Thoroughly wipe down the plastic around
the scan surface and under the handle.
c. Wipe dry with a Kimwipe.

4. Wipe the scan surface with deionized water

a. Moisten a large Kimwipe with deionized
water and wipe down the scan surface.
b. Clean the scan surface at least twice.
c. Wipe the glass dry with a Kimwipe.
