Weekly cleaning

1.
Before you start cleaning the air-conditioner, press the power
switch (13) to the OFF position and unplug the appliance.
2.
Empty the water tank (5) as described in the section on "water
disposal".
3.
Clean the water tank (5) with normal washing-up liquid, then
carefully rinse several times with warm water.
4.
Clean the outside of the water tank (5) with a soft, damp cloth.

Take the air-filter (8) out of its holder and clean it carefully with
the brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner. If the air-filter is
very soiled, wash it carefully in warm water (about 40
normal washing-up liquid. Rinse the air-filter thoroughly and let it
dry completely. Do not dry it in the sun.
6.
Press the air-filter (8) back into its holder until it clicks into place.
7.
Wipe all outer surfaces of the air-conditioner with a soft, damp
cloth. Do not use white spirit, thinner or any other chemicals to
clean the appliance.
8.
To restart the air-conditioner follow the "instructions for use".

Possible cause
1. The water tank control light is flashing, the
water tank is full.
2. The 3 minutes are not over since the
appliance was switched off.

selected temperature (COOL mode)
The appliance is not standing on an even
surface.
The noise comes from the circulation of
cooling fluid in the appliance.

Every two weeks after cleaning you should also disinfect only the
following parts of the air-conditioner: The inside of the water tank
(5) and the water tube (8).
Use a commercially available, alcohol-based disinfectant
(antiseptic) or highly concentrated ancohol. This external
disinfectant is an alcohol mixture which you can obtain in a
spray bottle at any chemist's or drugstore. Both substances are
absolutely harmless if the parts are rinsed properly afterwards.
Wipe all outer surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
To restart the air-conditioner follow the "instructions for use".
If you do not wish to use the air-conditioner for a longer period
(a week or more), clean it as described in "weekly
cleaning" and "disinfection".
Allow the air-conditioner and all its components to dry
completely.
The air-conditioner must not be stored with a soiled air-filter (8) or
with water in the tank.
Store the air-conditioner upright in a cool, dry place.
Fault repair
1. Empty the water tank.
2. Wait until the three minutes have passed.
3. Reselect the temperature.
Stand the appliance on an even surface.
This is normal.
