Please make sure that the end of the water tube is always lower
than the water connection in the air-conditioner, so that the water
can drain freely and safely out of the tube (27).
5.
Check regularly that the water tube (27) is fitted securely and
tightly, and that it is not blocked. Empty the external container
regularly. Overflowing water can damage objects and floor
coverings, or cause an electric shock.

FITTING THE WASTE-AIR TUBE

("COOL" operational mode)
The air-conditioner offers two ways of fitting the waste-air tube (10).
The waste-air tube can be pulled out to a length of 50 – 200 cm.
However, for best results the length should be kept to a minimum.
IMPORTANT: Do not stretch or buckle the waste-air tube (Fig. 6).

Temporary installation

1.
Fit the waste-air tube (10) onto the connection to the waste-air
vent (12) at the back of the air-conditioner. First fit the left side of
the waste-air tube, then the right side. Push the waste-air tube
(10) down and make sure that the waste-air tube (10) is fitted
securely.
2.
Check that the reducing duct (11) is attached securely to the
other end of the waste-air tube (10).
3.
Put the waste-air tube (10) with the fitted reducing duct (11)
through an open window to outdoors. Make sure that the
waste-air tube (10) and reducing duct (11) are at a height of at
least 30 cm up to a maximum of 120 cm, measured from the
surface on which the air-conditioner is standing. (Fig. 5 + 6).
4.
If you do not wish to use the air-conditioner, remove the waste-air
tube from its window position.
Permanent installation
1.
Fit the waste-air tube (10) onto the connection on the waste-air
vent (12) at the back of the air-conditioner. First fit the left side of
the waste-air tube, then the right side. Push the waste-air tube
(10) down and make sure that the waste-air tube (10) is fitted
securely.
2.
Drill a hole with a diameter of 125mm through an outside wall.
Make sure that the hole is at a height at least 30 cm up to a
maximum of 120 cm, measured from the surface on which the
air-conditioner is standing (Fig. 6).
3.
Push the adapter (24) into the hole and fix it to the wall with the
enclosed 4 plugs and screws.
4.
Take the cap off the adapter (24) and push the waste-air tube
(10) into the adapter without the reducing duct (11).
5.
If you do not wish to use the air-conditioner, take the waste-air
tube (10) out of the adapter (24) and close the adapter with the
cap.

WINDOW-FITTING TRACK

The window-fitting track can be fitted both horizontally and vertically
in most sash windows.. See (Fig. 7) für minimum und maximum
window openings.
