3.2 Mounting of the Tool Holder

1. Insert probe into tool holder (System BTH 50)
2. Tighten screw slightly only
3. Mount stylus (see chap. 3.4)
4. Insert probe into spindle
5. Turn probe by 360°
6. Observe display of run-out – stylus is not allowed to be deflected.
7. Adjust concentricity by crosswise loosening and tightening of the opposite
center screws (4 internal hexagon screws 2 mm) - M
Run-Out:
8. Tighten holding screw (M
9. Carry out calibration cycle
