3.3.8 Flails

Flails must to be free to rotate about the bushings on the
rotor. The bushings must not rotate. The bushings are
held secure by tightening the bolts which squeeze the tabs
against the bushing. Bolts should be torqued to 200 ft.-lbs.

3.3.9 Stripper Plate

Stripper Plate for the 2650
Adding a stripper plate will produce a finer cut and
removing plates will produce a courser cut.
For a finer cut, one or two additional stripper plates can be
added. See pages 132-133 "Stripper Bar Installation" for
installation information.
In applications such as land reclamation, where a very
course cut is desired, all stripper plates may be removed.
