Transmitter Current Consumption Test
This test should be carried out only after the successful completion of the previous tests.

Start TX current test.
Is TX current >1.8A?
(average TX current?)
Yes
1. Measure RF PA bias voltages on pins 7 of
U802 and pin 1 of U907.
2. Measure supply voltage on pin 2 of U907
and pin 4 of U801.
Are supply or (and)
bias voltages high?
Yes
1. Check power supplies:
2. Repeat tuning of the radio.
Repeat Transmitter current
consumption test.
No
OK
Repeat Open Loop Power test and Close Loop
No
Power test.
If the power still exists, replace U809.
Repeat Transmitter current consumption test.
