Wi-Fi client
The Wi-Fi client mode can only be selected if the fre-
quency bands are to be configured separately.
To ensure that the dLAN pro 1200+ WiFi ac
functions optimally and reliably as a Wi-Fi cli-
ent, the device must be operated in Wi-Fi net-
works consisting of devolo dLAN pro Wireless
or Wi-Fi devices.
Wi-Fi off
If you would like, you can completely shut off the Wi-Fi
part of your dLAN pro 1200+ WiFi ac, e.g. if you want
to operate it exclusively as a simple dLAN device via the
built-in Ethernet connections. To do so, under Wi-Fi
configuration, deactivate the Activated option and
confirm your entry with Save or simply press the Wi-Fi
ON/OFF button on the housing.
The 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz frequency bands can also be
turned on or off separately.
Keep in mind that after saving this
setting, you will be disconnected
from any existing wireless connec-
tion to the dLAN pro 1200+ WiFi ac.
In this case, configure the device via
Ethernet or dLAN.

The operating state of the device is displayed under
4.3 Status overview.
With the factory defaults, the device is config-
ured as an access point and the Use shared
settings for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz option is ac-
tivated.
