MDS DIRECT
In terms of capacity and functions this system comes between the MDS Digital system (the most comprehensive)
and the MDS City system. This system can work in General Entrances or Interior Blocks. Recommended for both
independent buildings and medium sized residential complexes combined with other systems (MDS City or ADS).

a) Does not require a Central Unit.
b) Panel with keypad:
The panel has a keypad which allows the user make calls to residences simply entering the number associated
to the relevant residence. Each residence has an associated code which generally corresponds to the door
number, such that, for example, if calling door 26, enter 2, 6 and the bell.
A directory panel can be compiled to include the name of all the residents and the number for the corresponding
residence.
c) Capacity: for large buildings, medium and large developments.
Recommended for:
- Individual Buildings:
- Up to 99 residences and 5 accesses (between audio and video panels) with 1 central guard unit.
- Up to 99 residences and 9 accesses (between audio and video panels) if no central guard unit exists.
- In residential complexes:
- MDS Direct interior block combined with MDS Digital or Direct general entrances: Up to 99 interior
blocks with 99 residences and a maximum of 9 accesses per block.
· MDS Direct, MDS City or ADS Interior Block combined with MDS Direct general entrances: Up to 5
general entrances and 1 central guard unit or 9 general entrances without a guard unit.
d) The MDS Digital system allows:
- Access Control: Up to 600 users via the panel keypad or secondary proximity reader (optional).
