Raise the motor unit (A) with the operating handle (1)
Stop the grinder by turning the switch to position "O"
and remove the dressing brick (E) from the vise
Put the chain in the vise jaws (10), with a
cutter up against the chain stop (8)
With the motor unit (A) pulled down, turn
the chain-stop adjustment knob (7) to
move the chain so that the cutter's depth
gauge is below the grinding wheel (C)
With the motor unit (A) pulled down, adjust
the grinding depth on the gauge by turning
the depth adjustment knob (6)
Set the depth gauge following the instructions given
in the "OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS, SHARPENING
THE CHAIN" section on pages 20-21 For this type
of sharpening procedure, there is no difference
between the right and left cutters, therefore
sharpen all the gauges one after the other
Check if the gauge depth is correct, using the template
with the shape related to the type of chain used
Also consult the chain table on page 12, column D
