steering lock

Before starting, unlock the steering, if
necessary, by turning the steering wheel
slightly while turning the key.
It is advisable to press the clutch during
the igniting on to facilitate the starting of
the engine.
Starting gasoline engine
Do not press the accelerator-control
pedal during starting.
Start and do not release the button until
the engine is ignited on.
Air bag malfunction
If this indicator comes on and stays
on, refer to one of the Iran Khodro
authorized dealers.
Front air bags
Deactivation of the front air bag
Select "1" split of passenger activation/
deactivation switch and then turn the button.
- "ON" Position activates the passenger
air bag.
- "OFF" Position deactivates the passenger
air bag.

Controlling the proper function of the
front air bag
When you turn the ignition Switch (2nd
notch), this light comes on and a message
is displayed on the instrument panel
display, which indicates the passenger air
bag is deactivated ("OFF" position). As long
as the passenger air bag is deactivated this
warning light remains on.
Warning
Never start the engine in a confined area.
Never attempt to modify the lock
system of the steering wheel.
Safety cautions for passenger air bag
In vehicles equipped with air bag
deactivation button
- Deactivate the function of the air bag,
in case the child seat is secured "rear
facing" in front of the air bag.
- Activate the air bag for adult passengers.
For vehicles which have not the
air bag deactivation button.
- Never have the child seat in "rear face"
position on the front passenger seat in
front of the air bag. Never put your leg or
any object on the panel board.
