Creating disk arrays

Open [Home] - [Subsystems] - [localhost] in the
RAID Configuration Tool screen's tree list, and click
[Disk Arrays].

Click the [Create] tab.

Click [Automatic Configuration], and click [Next ->].

Verify that the [Number of Physical Drives] value
under [Disk Array 1 - Information] is one less than
the number of drives installed on the unit and that
both [Disk Array 1 - Logical Drives] and [Spare
Drives] include one entry (#1), and click [Submit].
If the correct information is not displayed, the HDDs
may not be installed properly. Turn off the unit, and
check the HDD installations.

Logging out of RAID Configuration Tool

Click [Logout] in the RAID Configuration Tool
screen's menu bar.
Creating simple volumes

Right-click the [Computer] icon on the desktop, and
click [Manage] in the menu that appears.
The [Computer Management] screen appears.

Click [Disk Management].
The [Initialize Disk] dialog box appears.
3
Select [GPT (GUID Partition Table)], and click
[OK].
