The COREbar™ 4 can work with a DMX controller when linked by DMX
serial connections. Instructions for connecting and configuring this product
for DMX operation are in the User Manual. If you are not familiar with
DMX, download the DMX Primer from www.chauvetlighting.com.
To ensure full access to all channels in each DMX mode, the highest
recommended DMX address is 498.
The COREbar™ 4 uses the DMX data connection for its Master/Slave mode.
Instructions for connecting and configuring this product for Master/Slave
operation are in the User Manual.
The COREbar™ 4 can also use the footswitch connection for its
Master/Slave mode. Instructions for connecting and configuring this product
for Master/Slave operation using the footswitch are in the User Manual.
Additional footswitch options in this mode which are specific to the
COREbar™ 4 are as follows:
· Hold down the PRESETS pedal to activate the instant fade program.
· Hold down the SOUND pedal to activate a white strobe.
· Hold down the BLACKOUT pedal to activate a fade-out. Hold down the
BLACKOUT pedal again to activate a fade-in.
Note: These additional options may not be available when in
Master/Slave mode with 4BAR™ products.
