2.6 Connection to the heating circuit

The connection of the cooker to the heating
circuit and the assembly of the circuit must
only be performed by qualified professionals.
The circuit must be equipped with the relevant
safety measures. The circulation pump start-
stop control thermostat should be as near as
possible from the flow of the water jacket.
The recommended nominal working pressure
for the circuit is 1.2 bar. The water tightness
of the water jacket has been tested in the
factory at a pressure of 3.5 bar. Warning! To
test the water tightness of the piping circuits
initially, never connect the cooker to the
circuit and if you do connect it, never test the
entire system at a pressure of more than 3.5
bar. Lacunza cannot be held liable for the
consequences of doing so.
When the cooker has been connected to the
heating circuit, fill the circuit and test the
cooker for two or three days to make sure that
there are no leaks in the circuit. Having
performed all the checks, you can proceed to
cover the cooker.
Note: The heating circuit must be designed in
such a way that the temperature of the water
does not exceed 90ºC when working at full
power (to avoid excessively high temperatures
and pressure). The heating circuit must have a
system to dissipate excess heat such as a leak
radiator, a heat discharge valve, a cold water
supply etc.
The heating circuit must also have a purging
valve at the bottom in order to drain it down.
The circuit must be fitted with a circulation
pump.
Circuits with pressure vessel must be fitted
with a safety valve (3Kg/cm
discharge valve (97ºC).
In hard water areas the use of a suitable
limescale remover/preventer is advised.

The pump will be wired into a thermostat
which is in the flow of the circuit. This
pump will be activated when the water flow
temperature reaches to 45ºC.

2.7 Checks prior to start-up

Check the appliance for any damage
that may have occurred in transit-if
any damage is found or if you are in
doubt, do not continue with the
installation
until
checked and rectified.
Check the flue airways are not
blocked by any packaging from
transit.
Check the airtight joints on the flue
airways are in perfect condition.
Check the loading and oven doors
