Leg Assembly
(Time required: About 10 minutes)

For safety, this work should be done by two persons.

Lay the unit on the floor. (Fig.23)

Remove the four (4) screws marked [S1]. The leg
assembly can then be removed. (Fig.24, Fig.25)

The front left, front right and rear leg assembly each can
then be removed in the same manner.
How to position the main unit
Spread a large soft cloth, such as a blanket, on the floor.
Place the unit on the cloth with the key cover closed and
the keyboard side on the bottom and lean the unit against
the wall so that the unit will not fall or slip.
Place a soft cloth against the wall to protect the instrument
and the wall from scratches.
Be sure to position the keyboard side on the bottom.
Refer to the diagram below to verify the orientation of
the legs. (Fig. 25)

Disassembling the GH3 Keyboard
(Time required: About 16 minutes)

After inserting a round stick (Rod: TX000670) between
the frame and keys, remove the circuit boards. (Fig.28)

Remove the keyboard assembly from the main unit.
(See procedure 15.)
27-2 GH3_EBUS circuit board L
Remove the five (5) screws marked [260A] and the
screw marked [262A]. The GH3_EBUS circuit board L
can then be removed. (Fig.26)

Remove the four (4) screws marked [260B], the screw
marked [262A] and the screw marked [262B]. The
GH3_EBUS circuit board M can then be removed.

Remove the five (5) screws marked [260C] and the
screw marked [262B]. The GH3_EBUS circuit board H
can then be removed. (Fig.26)
Rear leg
[260A-C]: Bind Head Tapping Screw-P 3.0X10 MFZN2 (VT413400)
[260A-C]: Bind Head Tapping Screw-P 3.0X10 MFZN2W3 (WF001000)
[262A,B]: PW Head Tapping Screw-P 3.0X10-10 MFZN2W3 (WF765500)
Front leg

Keys can be removed without removing the circuit
boards.
*
The rubber contact can be removed after the GH3_EBUS
circuit boards L, M and H are removed.
27-5 White key (Black key)
Insert a thin plate between the white keys, near the
triangle mark around the fulcrum of the key, and press
down the stopper marked [A] to remove the key.

Take care not to damage the key spring when removing a
key.
*
A black key can be removed after the white keys on
either side have been removed.
