・ When "Capturing mode" is set to "Smile detection",
you can select smile level for the smile detection
feature from "Big smile"/"Normal smile"/"Faint smile"
by tapping
(Smile level).
Taking a photo using smile
detection

With Smile detection set, point the
camera at your subject.
・ Each detected face is framed (up to 5
faces).
・ The camera selects which face to
focus on. A yellow frame shows the
face in focus.

The camera automatically takes
the photo when the subject in
focus smiles.
・ The photo is automatically saved on
the microSD card.
・ To take a photo though no smile is
detected, tap the shooting screen.
Changing the capturing
settings

From the Home screen, tap
[Camera].
・ If the still image shooting screen does
not appear, tap
On the shooting screen, tap t,

then tap a setting item.
・ There are 5 setting icons on the
shooting screen in advance. The
displayed setting icon changes
depending on the setting conditions.
・ For setting items and icons, see "Still
camera settings" (P.151).

Tap one of the options in the
setting that you have selected.
・ The setting option icon displayed on
the shooting screen is changed to the
selected one.

・ Alternatively, you can keep touching the setting
option icon or side bar of the icon on the shooting
screen and drag it toward the center of the screen
to display setting options.
