ATTACHING THE FRONT HANDLE
See Fig. 2a
■ Remove the securing screws and clamp from the front
handle.
■ Align the hooks on the clamp into upper shaft slot.
■ Install the front handle onto the upper shaft.
NOTE: The front handle should tilt slightly towards the
operator when correctly fitted.
■ Place the securing screws through the front handle
and securely tighten them into the captive nuts on the
front handle.

■ Stop the engine.
■ Loosen the lock nut.
■ Insert the shaft into the grass deflector.
■ Tighten the lock nut.
ATTACHING THE POWER HEAD TO TRIMMER

■ Stop the engine.
■ The trimmer attachment connects to the power head
■ Loosen the knob on the coupler of the power head
■ Push in the button located on the attachment shaft.
■ Align the button with the guide recess on the power
■ Rotate the attachment shaft until the button locks into

positioning hole, the shafts are not locked into place.
Slightly rotate from side to side until the button is locked
into place.
■ Tighten the knob securely.
