Specifying Channel Names

Default channel names for active channels are 'PC'. You have to assign
unique channel names to identify each connected server.
Note that channel names are stored on each connected MDCIM or
MDUTP. Therefore, you can only rename an "active" channel where a
"powered" MDCIM or MDUTP is available. Besides, the channel name
will disappear or be moved to another port if you swap the MDCIM or
MDUTP to a different port.
To change channel names:
1. If the OSD is not displayed, press the hot key 3 times.
The default hot key is 'Scroll Lock.' To change it, see
Settings
(on page 38).
2. On the Selection Menu, select an

Page Up or Page Down.
3. The RENAME page displays. Type a name up to 14 characters.
4. Press Enter to save the new name, or Esc to cancel it.
5. Repeat the same steps for additional channels.
