The surrounding surfaces must be able to withstand the allowable temperature rise of 65˚C above ambient temperature, as specified in the EN 30-1-1 standard and in accordance with the design of this unit. The temperature of the surrounding surfaces may rise if there are other additional devices besides the hob.
