USB Type-C connection
When single monitor is connected, no video or audio output from the laptop with USB
Type-C connection.
Check the cable connections and menu settings in the following order.
• Check if the USB Type-C cable has been connected to the monitor base and the laptop
properly. See Connect the USB Type-C cable. on page 21
• Check if the DP cable has been connected to the monitor and its base properly. See
the DP cable. on page 21

USB peripherals
No response from the USB peripherals connected to the USB ports on the monitor base.
If MST connection has been established, make sure you have connected your laptop to the
monitor base using a USB Type-C cable. Otherwise, all the USB ports on the monitor base will
be disabled. You should connect the USB peripherals to the laptop and manage the display
from there.
