    Inserting batteries Slide the battery cover latches inward as shown by the arrows. With the latches pressed in, slide the cover down as shown by the arrow. Open the battery cover as shown in the diagram. Insert the batteries according to the plus (+) and minus (-) marks found inside the battery compartment.
