Rudder Control Horn Installation
Step 1
Locate the pre-drilled rudder control
horn hole that is covered by
ultracote. There are two holes, the
more forward one is the one you
need to remove the covering by
xacto knife.
Step 2
Use the Dubro heavy duty dual pull-
pull system Cat. No. 883. Insert the
8-32 threaded rod for the rudder
control horn.
Step 3
Take the screw out and apply a thin
layer of epoxy inside the hole to
strengthen the inside walls.
Step 4
Proceed with final installation of
Dubro Cat. No 833. See Figure 9.

Aileron Horn Installation
Step 1
Locate the aileron control horn hole
and servo location that is covered by
ultracote. Remove the covering by
xacto knife.
Step 2
Iron around the hole that Dubro nut
and washer to be seated and then
apply a small amount of thin CA
around that area for extra strength.
Don't add too much because you will
have problem sitting the nut and
washer.
Step 3
Insert the screw provided to open up
the control horn hole completely.
Step 4
Take the screw out and apply a thin
layer of epoxy. Wait until its
hardened.
Step 5
For the control horns use the Dubro
Heavy Duty Control Horn System,
Cat. No. 866 and complete the
installation as pictured. Make sure
that servo output shaft is towards the
hinge line.
