The Medela Symphony ® Breast Pump Unit – Parts include an LCD display, an ON/OFF button (left) a vacuum adjustment and a milk let-down button (right).

    Milk Collection Bottle – The milk collection bottle catches the breast milk. It is clear and has two units of measurement, ounces and millilitres. Milk Collection Bottle Lid – The milk collection bottle lid fits over the milk collection bottle.

    Milk Bottle Container Stand – The milk bottle container stand hooks onto the back of the Medela Symphony ® breast pump unit and holds the 150 ml-sized milk collection bottles when they are not in use. Power Cord – The power cord is plugged into the back of the Medela Symphony ® breast pump.

    Ensure that all of the parts have been washed and sterilized. Allow to air dry on a clean towel. Plug in the Medela Symphony ® and check the LCD screen to ensure that there is power flow. It should read ‘Symphony 2.0’.

The Medela Symphony ® will automatically go into letdown mode after two minutes, and will continue to operate for another 28 minutes, at which time it will automatically shut off.
