Connecting the power adapter
The power cable corresponds to the country version of the notebook. Make sure that the

power cable is approved for use in the country in which you intend to use it.
The notebook and the power adapter should be at least 200 mm apart. Keep other
objects 100 mm clear of the notebook and its power adapter . Do not cover the ventilation
slots in the notebook and the power adapter.
Do not place the power adapter on heat-sensitive material.
The power adapter's AC cord should only be connected to a wall outlet if the notebook is
connected to the power adapter.
Switch off the notebook.
Place the notebook on a flat, sturdy surface.
Install the battery.

Connect the power adapter cable to the DC jack (DC IN) of the notebook (1).
Connect the power cable to the power adapter (2).
Plug the power cable into the power outlet (3).
The power adapter indicator lights up. After a few seconds the notebook's battery status
indicator lights up. The battery will charge.
