Before setting up POC-WP242, familiarize yourself with the locations and purposes of the controls, drives, connections, and ports, as illustrated in the figures below. When placed upright on a desktop, the POC-WP242 front panel appears as shown in Figure 2.1. -

Running the BIOS Setup Program The POC-WP242 is likely to have been properly set up and configured by your dealer prior to delivery. Nonetheless, you may still find it necessary to use the Basic Input- Output System (BIOS) setup program to adjust the system information, such as the date/time or hard drive type. -

Do not block the holes/ vents with any material. When the POC-WP242 is in operation, it is normal for the rear metal heatsink to become warm. The POC-WP242’s rear metal heatsink functions as a cooling surface that dissipates heat from inside the computer into the cooler air outside. -
