Malfunction causes and remedies

The following table will help with localising and remedying
minor malfunctions:
Defect
No sound.

Possible cause
The volume control
of the player or the
speaker is set to mini-
mum volume.
Playback device or
speaker not switched on.
The 3.5 mm jackplug
is not fully inserted
into the socket of the
playback device
The battery of the
speaker is discharged

illuminated in red or off).
Rectification
Turn the volume up on
the playback device
or the speaker.
Ensure that all devices
are switched on.
Push the 3.5 mm
jackplug completely
into the
socket.
Charge the battery
with the charging
cable (see also

chapter Charging
the battery).
