The XDP_FINISH_INSTALL macro checks for the existence of XDPVTnnn in
$SYSTEM.ZDLL (on H and J machines) or $SYSTEM.XDLL (on L machines) and
does the following:
 If the macro does not find the file, it will create XDPVTnnn and set its float type to
neutral.
 If the macro does find the file, it compares its VPROC version with that of
LIBVPHOS and then performs one of the following actions:

If LIBVPHOS is newer, the macro replaces the current XDPVTnnn and sets its
float type to neutral. If XDPVTnnn is opened by other processes, it will be
renamed so as not to disrupt any processing. Any processes that have the old
XDPVTnnn opened will have to be bounced at a later time to pick up the new
one.
•
If the LIBVPHOS and VPROC versions are the same, the macro leaves
XDPVTnnn alone.
•
If LIBVPHOS is older, the macro leaves XDPVTnnn alone. If you wish to
replace XDPVTnnn even if LIBVPHOS is older, you will have to do this
manually. To do this, purge or rename XDPVTnnn and then run the
XDP_FINISH_INSTALL macro as described above, starting with step 1.
Once XDPVTnnn is installed the first time, run the XDP_FINISH_INSTALL macro
again only when a new Voltage library is received and being installed on your system.

Uninstalling XDP Using the Host UNINSTALL Macro

To uninstall XDP, use the UNINSTALL macro described in Appendix C34:
"XDP_UNINSTALL" on page 118.

Managing the XYGATE License

XYGATE modules are "licensed" for a specific amount of time. This section describes
the steps for checking and updating the XYGATE license file.
1.5.1

Checking the Status of the Current License

To check your current license expiration date, use the
described in Appendix C36: on page 119.
