XDP_UNINSTALL
The XDP_UNINSTALL macro completely removes the XDP software from the
NonStop server. The macro must be run as the XDP owner ID.
You must detach any libraries using the
running the uninstall macro.
Then, you have to use the
and the XYGATEDP process before running the XDP_UNINSTALL macro.
The XDP_UNINSTALL macro checks to see if any files other than TACLSEG are
open. If there are open files, the uninstall will not be performed. If TACLSEG is open, it
will be left behind and renamed as ZZ###### which you will have to remove manually.
Syntax:
XDP_UNINSTALL
Example 1 below shows the complete uninstall of the XDP software. Notice that once
everything was deleted except the TACLSEG file, which was open because the
segment had to be attached in order to run the XDP_UNINSTALL macro, you will have
to remove a file manually (marked in red below) in order to complete the uninstall.
Example 1: How to uninstall the XDP software
$SYSTEM XYGATEDP 5> XDP_UNINSTALL
This procedure will totally remove all files in your XYGATEDP
installation.
