XDP_LIB_INSTALL
The XDP_LIB_INSTALL macro installs XDP as a library of an object program, so that
encryption and/or decryption occurs as configured. Additional questions can be asked
following the execution of this macro, in order to select the proper XDP library.
Syntax:
XDP_LIB_INSTALL <object-file>

Note: If one wishes to add to or update the library of an application that has XDP
installed, any XDP library that was previously installed must be first uninstalled,
then installed again after installing the library. Otherwise, when it comes time to
upgrade either the application or the XDP library, the XDP library uninstall will
fail because the application library will have changed since the XDP library was
installed.
XYPRO currently supports the installation of XDP libraries into code 100
programs, including programs that have libraries such as SKELB or Oracle
GoldenGate, and native programs that have no library. If the procedure names
in the XDP library match any of those in the application program and/or library
(procedure collisions) other than from GoldenGate, the XDP library installation
will not occur and the collisions will be displayed. Installation of XDP libraries
into other program scenarios is not supported via the XDP_LIB_INSTALL macro
and can require assistance from XPRO Professional Services. XYPRO does not
support installation of XDP libraries into code 700 native programs.
