5. Insert the handle through the corner post and onto the shaft
with the handle
positioned
so that "OFF"
is on top.
6. Rotate the handle to the "ON" position
to lock the pins into
the handle.
7. From
the
inside
of the
corner
post,
attach
the
handle
mounting
screws to the handle.
Slide the shaft fully into the
handle
and tighten
the set screws(s)
on the disconnect
to
lock the shaft.
Tighten
the screws
that attach the handle
to
the corner post.
8. Rotate the handle back to the "OFF"
position.
9. Replace
all panels and doors.
10. Restore
power
to unit.

Install All Accessories
After all of the factory-installed
options
have been adjusted,
install
all field-installed
accessories.
Refer
to the accessory
installation
instructions
included
with each accessory.

for
accessory
package
numbers
for
particular
applications.
PRE-START-UP
ELECTRICAL
OPERATION
HAZARD
Failure
to observe
the following
warnings
could
result
in personal
injury and/or death:
1. Follow
recognized
safety practices
and wear
protective
goggles when checking
or service
refrigerant
system.
2. Do not operate
compressor
or provide
any electric
power
to unit unless compressor
ternfinal
cover is in
place and secured.
3. Do not remove
compressor
ternfinal cover until all
electrical
sources
are disconnected.
4.
Relieve
all pressure
from system before touching
or
disturbing
anything
inside compressor
ternfinal
box
if refrigerant
leak is suspected
around
compressor
ternfinals.
5.
6.
Never attempt to repair soldered
connection
while
refrigerant
system
is under pressure.
Do not use torch to remove
any component.
System
contains
oil and refrigerant
under pressure.
To
remove
a component,
wear protective
goggles
and
proceed
as follows:
a. Shut off gas, then electrical
power to unit.
Install
lockout
tag.
b. Relieve
all pressure
from system
using both high
and low-pressure
ports.
c. Cut component
connection
tubing with tubing
cutter and remove
component
from unit.
d. Carefully
unsweat
remaining
tubing stubs when
necessary.
Oil can ignite
when
exposed
to torch
flame.
Proceed
as follows
to inspect
and
prepare
the
unit
for
initial
start-up:
1. Remove
all access panels.
2. Read
and
follow
instructions
on
all
WARNING,
CAUTION,
and
INFORMATION
labels
attached
to
or
shipped
with unit.
3. Make the following
inspections:
a. Inspect
for shipping
and handling
damages
such as
broken
lines, loose parts, or disconnected
wires.
b. Inspect
for oil at all refrigerant
tubing connections
and
on unit base. Detecting
oil generally
indicates
a
refrigerant
leak. Leak-test
all refrigerant
tubing
connections
using electronic
leak detector,
halide torch,
or liquid-soap
solution.
c. Inspect
all field-wiring
and factory-wiring
connections.
Be sure that connections
are completed
and tight.
d. Inspect
coil fins. If damaged
during
shipping
and
handling,
carefully
straighten
fins with a fin comb.
4. Verify the following:
a. Make sure that condenser-fan
blades are correctly
positioned
in fan orifice. Refer to Condenser-Fan
Adjustment
section
for more details.
b. Make sure that air filters are in place.
