Assembling the Handle

Procedure
1. Attach the lower handle to the mower housing with 4
bolts, 4 flat washers, 4 split washers, and 4 nuts

2. Attach the upper handle to the lower handle using 2
handle knobs, 2 curved washers, and 2 bolts. Tighten
the handle knobs securely by hand

3. Insert the cables into the cable clamp and attach the
cable clip to the handle as shown in

Installing the Recoil-Starter
Rope in the Rope Guide

Procedure
Important: To start the engine safely and easily
whenever you use the machine, install the recoil-starter
rope in the rope guide.
Hold the blade-control bar to the upper handle
and pull the recoil-starter rope through the rope guide on
the handle (Figure
