Serverboard Features
At the heart of the A+ Server 2022TG-H6IBQRF/H6RF lies the H8DGT-HLIBQF/HLF,
a dual processor serverboard based on the SR5690/SP5100 chipset and designed
to provide maximum performance. Up to four of these serverboards can be mounted
in the SC827 chassis.
The sections below cover the main features of the H8DGT-HLIBQF/HLF serverboard
(see Figure 1-1 for a block diagram of the chipset).
Processors
The H8DGT-HLIBQF/HLF supports single or dual AMD Opteron 6000 series
processors (AMD Socket G34 type). Please refer to the serverboard description
pages on our web site for a complete listing of supported processors (www.
supermicro.com).
Memory

channel DIMM slots that can support up to 64 GB of ECC/Non-ECC
UDIMM or up to 256 GB of ECC RDIMM DDR3-1866/1600/1333/1066 Mhz in
1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB or 32 GB sizes of 1.5V or 1.35V voltages.
SAS
An LSI
SAS2108 SAS2 controller is integrated into the BPN-ADP-SAS2-H6IR-O-P
®
backplane to provide an eight port 6 Gb/s SAS2 (Serial Attached SCSI) subsystem,
which supports RAID 0, 1, and 5. The SAS drives are hot-swappable units.
Note:The operating system you use must have RAID support to enable the hotswap
capability and RAID function of the SAS drives.
PCI Expansion Slots
Each H8DGT-HLIBQF/HLF serverboard has:

One (1) PCI-Express x16 Gen. 2

One (1) PCI-Express x8 in x4 Gen. 2 (for SAS adapter cards)
Onboard Controllers/Ports
Onboard I/O backpanel ports include one COM port, a VGA port, two Gb LAN ports, a
dedicated IPMI LAN port, two USB ports and one single QSFP MellonoxConnect-X2
InfiniBand
connector (2022TG-H6IBQRF only). Two USB headers and one USB
™
Type-A port are also included on the motherboard.
