Removing/Refitting the Filter
Important: Before removing or refitting
the filter, switch the kettle off. Unplug
the power base, empty the kettle and
allow to cool completely.
To Remove the Filter
•
Open the lid by pressing the lid
release button.
•
Take hold of the top of the filter
and pull upwards, paying
particular attention to how the filter
locates. The filter should slide out
of the grooves with ease and
without having to use excessive
force.
To Clean the Filter
•
Rinse filter under a tap whilst
brushing with a soft brush. In hard
water areas it may be necessary
to descale with a proprietary
descaling agent. Ensure to rinse
thoroughly to remove any
remaining proprietary descaler.

To Refit the Filter
•
Make sure that your hands are
clean and free from soap, cream
or anything which might taint the
water.
•
Holding the top of the filter,
replace by sliding into the grooves
inside the spout, ensuring that the
locking tabs at the bottom of the
filter click into position.

NOTE
To prevent damage to the filter,
avoid pressing the mesh.

Do not operate this kettle without the
