FOR SERVICE TECHNICIAN'S USE ONLY
 If the resistance is 510–590 Ω, go to step
6; if not, replace the water valve.
 If an open circuit is detected, go to step 8.
6. Check Water Valve Relay Power Harness—
using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance
between the water valve relay N.O. connector
(blue wire) and CCU P9-1 (light blue wire).
 If there is continuity, go to step 7.
 If there is no continuity, replace the main
harness.
7. Inside the drum, unscrew and replace the
water nozzle using a 7/16" wrench or socket.
Retest water valve.
 If water does not dispense, go to step 8.
8. Access the water valve by removing back
panel.
 Check that the hose and wires are
connected to the water valve assembly
(see Figure 15).
 Check that the water valve assembly hose
is connected to the water nozzle.
9. If everything is hooked up and the water
still does not dispense:
 Unplug dryer or disconnect power.
 Replace the water valve assembly and
retest.
10. If the preceding steps did not correct
the problem, replace the CCU.

Resetting the Modifiers and Options
to Factory Default
To return all options and modifiers to factory
defaults, select the timed dry cycle, then press
WRINKLE PREVENT, DAMP DRY SIGNAL,
WRINKLE PREVENT, DAMP DRY SIGNAL,
within 5 seconds. When done correctly, the
7-segment display will show "Fd" and the
buzzer will sound before returning to Standby
Mode. This procedure does not return the
Customer-Focused Dryness Level to factory
default setting.
