The Movie Menu

F Time-lapse Movie

Rotate the mode dial to e M Press the d button M Tap F
The camera can automatically capture still images at a specified interval to create
time-lapse movies that are approximately 10 seconds long.
When Movie M NTSC/PAL in the setup menu is set to NTSC, 300 images are
captured. When set to PAL, 250 images are captured.

Tap to select whether or not to fix exposure
(brightness) (except Night sky).
When AE-L on is selected, the automatic exposure function is
locked for the first image and is used for all images. When you
want to record a movie in which the brightness changes
drastically like at dusk, AE-L off is recommended.
