    Indesit Company INTRODUCTION The Condenser ’FUTURA’ range was launched during 2011. The Futura tumble dryers have redesigned Front Panels, Round Doors, Front Air Duct, Plinth, Worktop, Water Container and a Fast Empty Water Bottle. These new Tumble Dryers match the ’FUTURA’ Washing Machines.

    Indesit Company LOOKING AFTER THE DRYER FLUFF FILTER The fluff filter MUST be cleaned after every use. Never use the machine without a filter. Remove the filter from the machine. Open and clean the filter. WATER CONTAINER Empty the water container after every cycle.

    Indesit Company MACHINE FUNCTION Drying Overview These models are freestanding tumble dryers with a full width metal door. Reversible hinges allow the door to be hung on either the left or right hand side of the front panel. The appliance is supplied with the door hung on the left hand side of the cabinet.

    Indesit Company Controls Overview The user controls consist of an LCD display, programme selection buttons, option buttons; start reset button and a stand-by button. The control system consists of a control module, 2 thermistors and a conductivity sensor. The conductivity sensor is mounted in the front air duct. A single wire connects the sensor to the control module.

    Indesit Company PROGRAMME INFORMATION Using the Machine Sort the laundry and load the machine. Check the filter is clean and the water container is empty. Press the On/Off button, the display will illuminate. Press the required programme button that suits the load being dried.
  • Page 21 Indesit Company Wool Programme • This is a programme for tumble dryer safe garments marked with the symbol • It can be used for load sizes up to 1 kg (approximately 3 sweaters). • We recommend that garments are turned inside out before drying.

It limits the temperature of the heat entering the drum. Drum The drum comprises of a zinc coated front and rear body and two removable plastic lifters.

    Indesit Company FAULT CODES In the event of a fault being detected by the electronics, a code will appear in the LCD display. These are listed in the following table. • Components with a low resistance to Earth may cause erroneous faults or loss of the display.

    Indesit Company DISMANTLING INSTRUCTIONS SAFETY NOTES 1. ENSURE THAT THE MACHINE IS UNPLUGGED BEFORE DISMANTLING. 2. BEWARE OF SHARP EDGES ON METAL PANELS AND PRESSED PARTS. A. Top Cover Remove the 2 screws securing the top cover to the back panel.
