DANGER
Never install rearward-facing child restraints or infant carriers on
the front passenger seat.
A child will be seriously injured and can be killed when the
passenger airbag inflates – even with an Advanced Airbag
System.
The inflating airbag will hit the child restraint or infant carrier
with great force and will smash the child restraint and child
against the backrest, center armrest, door or roof.
Always install rearward-facing child restraints and infant
carriers on the rear seat.
WARNING
Not using a child restraint, using the wrong child restraint, or
improperly installing a child restraint increases the risk of serious
personal injury and death in a collision or other emergency
