The freezer clicks, but doesn't turn on
Is there power failure?
Turn the freezer off for 30 minutes for the refrigeration
system to stabilize. If possible, keep the lid closed during
that period of time.
The freezer does not freeze adequately
Temperature control set to "refrigerator" or
intermediary position.
Set to the freezer position (see item "How to operate the
temperature control").
Excessive opening of the doors.
Tell people to open the doors only when necessary.
Some noises are considered normal to the operation of the
freezer. Find below a table with such noises.
Cracks.
Cracks are due to the normal operation of the temperature
control (thermostat).
Compressor noise.
This noise is characteristic of the motor. It means that the
compressor is operating.
Poor distribution of food, blocking air circulation.
Rearrange food.
Too much food to be frozen.
Observe maximum freezing capacity.
Freezer freezes food and beverages when it should
only cool them
Temperature control set to "freezer" or at
intermediary position.
Set to the refrigerator position (see item "How to
operate the temperature control").

Normal noises

Gas expansion noise.
This noise is characteristic of gas expansion in the
refrigeration system. It is a noise similar to the one
generated when we inflate a gas balloon.
Ventilation noise.
It is characteristic of the condenser ventilation refrigeration
system.
