Lights
The light "Power" or "Encendido" confirms that freezer is
connecting to the power source. If the light does not go on,
check whether:
There is no power.
The power supply cord is disconnected.
The light has burned out.
The light "Running" or "Congelando" confirms that the
freezer is working.

Lock

To lock and unlock the freezer, place the key in the lock
and turn it. The lock is provided with a spring that does

Defrosting and cleaning

Explosion Hazard
Keep flammable materials such as gasoline away
from freezer.
Failure to do so can result in death, explosion,
or fire.
It is recommended that your freezer be cleaned at least
once a year or when ice layer is 6 mm (1/4") thick. In
places where humidity is high, cleaning and defrosting
must be made more often. Do neither use abrasive
products nor cleaning waxes, concentrated detergents,
bleach or products that contain oil or plastic to clean
your freezer as they may damage the paint.
NOTE: For models provided with a drain for defrosting
water, make sure to remove the drain plug before
defrosting and to replace it when defrosting is over.

and inform model and serial number of your freezer to
ask for a new key.

Sliding basket

Store small packs in the basket so they don't get
lost in the bottom of the freezer. The basket can be
moved from side to side to remove bigger pieces of
food. Pull the basket upwards to remove it. To place
it back, just lower it into place.
1. Disconnect freezer from power supply.
2. Remove frozen food from freezer and wrap it in layers
of paper and cloth. Food will remain frozen for several
hours. You can also store frozen food in a refrigerator or
a thermal container.
3. Draining system: Pull drain plug straight out.
Remove the plastic cover from inside the freezer. Place
a container under the drain or connect a hose to the
threaded end of the hose adapter and direct water to
the outside.
NOTE: Check the container frequently to prevent spilling.
Have a second container at hand to replace when
necessary.
NOTE: In models WHA14ABTWW and for all WHA20,
the drain is located in the front part of the product.
In models WHA30 and WHA14ABDWC, it is located in
the back.
