If the water pressure has dropped and there is no water flow on the 3rd setting after performing maintenance checks on a Kärcher K5 pressure washer, follow these steps:
1. Check Water Supply – Ensure the water tap is fully open and the inlet has an adequate flow rate. 2. Clean Water Connection Sieve – Remove the sieve from the water connection using flat pliers and clean it under running water. 3. Check for Voltage Drop – If the motor buzzes but does not start, press the high-pressure gun lever first before switching the device on. 4. Inspect for Leaks – A slight leakage from the pump is normal, but if excessive, contact customer service. 5. Verify Detergent Infeed – If using detergent, ensure the correct spray lance is attached.
If the issue persists, consult authorized customer service for further assistance.
