2.Press [RIGHT] to enter the sub-menu on the right of the screen. Ifyou want to set
the screen to "WIDE", press [DOWN] move the highlighted band to the "WIDE"
option, then press [ENTER] to validate this selection. The DVD player response of
"SETTOWIDE"willshowon the bottom of the screen.
3.Press [SETU P] to exit the SETUP MENU
Note: Three screen ratio modes, i, e, WIDE (16:9), NORMAL/PS (4:3) and NORMAL/LB
(4:3) are available for you to align the DVD player output to your monitor / TV. The
relationship between the film upon the disc and the screen ratio mode are as follows:
Example 2: Setting the Parental Control funct
Parents can prohibit users of the DVD player from watching films of certain
categories, particularly those unsuitable for minors The film rating categories
are defined by the Motion Pictures Association of America as G, PG, PG-13 etc.
Setup is asfollows:
1 .Press [SETUP] to access the SETUP MENU. Press [DOWN] until the
highlighted band moves to the item "Custom Setup". Press [ENTER], then press
[DOWN] until the highlighted band moves to the item "PARE NTAL", as shown
below:
