  • Page 2 Line or Speed Dial Buttons Opens a new line, speed dials the number on the LCD screen, or ends a call. Cisco IP Phone 7960 has six lines or speed dial buttons and the 7940 has two.

After you enter the number, an animated phone icon with a flashing right allow appears in the upper-right corner of the LCD screen.
