FINE TUNE
In areas of poor reception or constant interference a slight adjustment to the tuning may improve the
picture quality. The television should be turned ON and the TV/AV switch set to TV.
Using the Remote Control
1. Push the MAIN MENU button.
2. Move to the PRESET Menu using the Up
or Down button.
3 Use the Left or Right buttons to choose
the PRESET Menu.
4. Move to the POS Setup menu using the
Up or Down button.
5. Choose the POS Setup menu using the
Left or Right buttons.
6. Use the Up or Down button to choose the
FINE TUNE option.
7. Use the Left or Right buttons to start the
fine tuning.
8. The fine tuning symbol will appear to the
left of the Programme Location Number
indicator.
9. Keep pushing the MAIN MENU button
until you return to normal viewing.
Canceling the FINE TUNE
Follow the Manual Tune procedure on page 23 to cancel the Fine Tuning.
SKIP
This option allows you to "SKIP" (bypass) the unused or undesired Programme Numbers. The Function is only
applicable when the Programme Number Up or down buttons are pressed. The use of the remote control Direct
Programme Number Buttons overrides the Skip function.
Using the Remote Control
1. Select the programme number to be
skipped.
2. Push the MAIN MENU button.
3. Move to the PRESET Menu using the Up
or Down button.
4. Move to the POS Setup menu using the
Up or Down button.
5. Choose the POS Setup menu using the
Left or Right buttons.
6. Use the Left or Right buttons to choose
the PRESET Menu.
7. Use the Up or Down button to choose the
SKIP option.
8. Use the Left or Right buttons to turn the
SKIP On or Off.
9. Keep pushing the MAIN MENU button
until you return to normal viewing.
Using the Front Panel Controls
1. Open the front door.
2. Press the PRE. button repeatedly until
POS.SETUP is highlighted.
3. Use the Volume Up (+) or Down (-)
buttons to choose the POS.SETUP
Menu.
4. Use the PRE. button to choose the FINE
TUNE option.
5. Use the Volume Up ( + ) or Down ( - )
buttons to start the FINE Tuning.
6. The fine tuning symbol will appear to the
left of the Programme Location Number
indicator.
7. Push the PRE. button repeatedly until
you return to normal viewing.
