    TX-86PW155A TX-76PW60A TX-76PW155A TX-66PW60A This button is used to store tuning information and other function settings. It is also used to start the menu demonstration. The F button is used to select the on screen display functions. Press the button to select the following functions sequentially.

    BUTTON STANDBY The remote control button is used to turn the television into Standby mode.     Remote Control Television Operation BUTTON MULTI WINDOW (TX-86PW155A & TX-76PW155A only) This option allows you to watch: Pressing this button will access the Picture in Picture options. You can choose between normal, PIP (Picture In Picture) or PAP (Picture And Picture). The Multipip function does not operate when you are using a Progressive signal.

    Notes: With Panasonic Q-Link VCRs these additional features are available: If you insert a tape in your VCR and press the Play button, the television will automatically switch on and select the AV2 input so you can view the tape.

    Setup menu - Geomagnetic Correction Magnetic interference may come from such things as unshielded motors, moving the TV while it is switched ON, turning off a vacuum cleaner too close to the TV, lightning strikes nearby or many other things. If geomagnetic changes cause colour patches on the screen switch your Television OFF for 30 minutes and then switch it back ON.

    Panasonic Auto This option determines the best aspect ratio to use to fill your screen. If Auto detects a widescreen signal it switches into the appropriate 16:9 or 14:9 widescreen mode. A 4:3 picture will be stretched at the edges to fill the whole screen.

    Teletext Operation Teletext is only available on certain broadcast channels. The time taken to display the pages and sub-pages is set by the teletext transmitter and not by the television. Teletext is also used for Closed Captioning of television programmes. Captions are used by people who are deaf, hearing impaired, learning English or viewing in a noisy environment.

    BUTTON F.P. (FAVOURITE PAGE) This feature will store a favourite page in the TV memory. The TV must be in the LIST mode, receiving a teletext broadcast and the programme number must be between 1 and 25. Push the Blue button. Select the page number.

    Connecting Equipment to the TV - Rear Panel Connecting a VCR When using a VCR with the television always connect the Aerial to the VCR and connect an RF Cable (not supplied) between the VCR RF-Out and the television RF-In.
